I would love your input...

Hey Guys, So I have about 100 revamped recipes on various meals and was thinking about coming out with a cookbook. I'd love your input on a recipe you would like to see revamped! If you have any suggestions, you can email me at kanwal.ullah@gmail.com or post it on the blog! Thanks Everyone!!

  3. Not any in particular ,but you know what the hardest part for me the english names for many of the indian vegetables. Like for instance I spend so much time guestimating what the english name is so I can put it into my tracker. For instance, kerala...what is the english name for it or what other veggie can i used to substitute without under or over estimating. Another good one is papdi...Same thing for daal. WW has some daal names but what about something like urad daal, etc.

  4. kerala = bitter gourd or balsam-pear, and this is in the WW tracker.
Dal = lentils, if you type lentils in the tracker, you will see urad dal.

Let me know if you are having trouble with any others.

  5. You already know what I think about this idea!!! GO FOR IT! I always enjoy the revamped Indian recipes, but hey a revamped chocolate chip cookie recipe would be nice, LOL. And please include lowfat snacks. I do editing and proofing so if you need someone to look over it later on let me know and I'll be glad to! Hugs, Carol

  7. Not trying to compare you with anyone but there is a "girl" who is "hungry" and has written two best selling books. You never know where your book can take you! Your recipes are always great and healthy. :-) Hugs, Carol

  8. And BTW, How long did it take you to lose 50 pounds? You should be so proud of yourself. Did you always stick to your diet and recipes or have to start over at times? I feel like a yo-yo all the time.....Carol

  9. Hey Carol,

Thanks for the encouragement :-) Also, Im aware of Hungry-girl...and I love her..I just aim to use more natural ingredients :-)

Also, losing weight has taken me YEARS...especially when I let things get out of control my last semester in college. Being overweight was always an issue for me growing up though. I started to take control in my senior year of high school, and managed to keep it up for the majority of college.then the last year of college I gained 25 pounds!! Since then, I've lost 11, and I still have 14 more to go, which is steadily coming off.
