So, I try to eat a lot of fruit and veggies. I also try to incorporate these suckers in my snacks. Todays snack of the day: Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese cubes and Grapes. All I can say is YUM! If you've never tried the fruit and cheese combo, then you're missing out. This snack had a points value of 3. I a took Sargento reduced fat cheddar stick, cubed this, and paired it up with a half cup of grapes. A perfect carb protein combo!!!
So, the biggest issue I have is keeping up with my water intake. They say you should have 8-10 glasses of water a day. I don't know about you, but I have such a hard time downing plain water. Now, I'm not saying I need a diet coke instead of water. I just need a little flavor. Here's how I get by on drinking my water: 1. A bit of sugar free kool aid, just for flavor, added to my water 2. A splash of fresh lemon juice 3. Seltzer water, I love this so much that Im thinking about buying my own seltzer maker (anyone got any suggestions) 4. I brew up flavored tea, and cool this in the refrigerator for on the go ice tea
Today for breakfast I decided to have lunch. Jennie O Turkey ham ( 2 WW points), Arnold's bread (1 WW point), 1 slice of 2% sharp cheddar cheese (1 WW point). Total of 4 points...in case you guys havent guessed it, WW has helped me lose a lot of weight!
So, I am not a Nutritionist, nor a dietician. I am your average 27 year old who's had her struggles with weight loss. Finally, after years of over eating, and emotional eating, I've gotten myself back on the track of weight loss by losing over 60 pounds so far! Now, Im still 15 pounds away from my goal weight, but I'd like to share my thoughts, recipes, workouts anything and everything that has pertained to my weight loss. I welcome your questions or suggestions! I will try to help out as best as I can!
