***Recipe Alert: Breakfast Bean Bowl***
Good Morning Ppls!!
Let's not forget that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. There is nothing more satisfying than a heart healthy, fiber filling, wholesome breakfast :-). Here's a great breakfast bowl that's quick and easy.
Ingredients:
One egg, fried in one teaspoon of oil(blot the excess oil off with a paper towel)
1/2c. Pinto beans
1 slice of Kraft extra thin sliced deli swiss cheese
Salt/pepper to taste
1 tsp. Hot and Spicy Steak sauce
In a bowl, add the beans, then top with the egg and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Nuke this in the microwave for about 30 seconds, to slightly melt the cheese. Top off with the steak sauce. Enjoy :-)
For 4 WW pts you get over 8 grams of fiber from the beans, and a dose of healthy fat from the egg yolk! Not bad.
