My favorite type of apple these days are Gala. Not too sweet but oh so crisp! Also, leave the peel on your apple for that extra fiber boost. I hope this has inspired you to have a healthy snack today!

Snack time....
Hello Everyone! It's that time of day where my tummy is yearning to be filled with something nutritious and delicious. Today's snack is sliced apples with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a sprinkling of cinnamon. YUM!
My favorite type of apple these days are Gala. Not too sweet but oh so crisp! Also, leave the peel on your apple for that extra fiber boost. I hope this has inspired you to have a healthy snack today!

Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip Cookie Review
While I was in the grocery store I was craving a chocolate chip cookie but was looking for a low point option. I was also looking for a soft, chewy cookie, similar to Chips Ahoy soft baked cookies. This is when I found Weight Watchers soft baked chocolate chip cookies for only one point! I was a little apprehensive in buying these because of all the artificial ingredients but thought I would only be having this occasionally so this should not be too bad to fight off a craving. When I opened the box I found nine individually wrapped cookies. All were of decent size as well and still a very soft. The cookies were soft, chewy and just a little dense. This may sound weird but i really like dense cookies and brownies. The cookies were also a bit sweet, but not like cookie sweet but apple saucy sweet.
All in all for just one point and less than a hundred calories I thought these were a great soft baked chocolate chip cookie fix! The only downside: there were a helluva lot of ingredients that I couldn't pronounce. I would probably only eat these cookies when I really needed to get rid of a craving.

Barry's Bootcamp review cont...
Yesterday I said the true test to Barry's Bootcamp would be to see if I am sore today. The verdict is in...my lower body is really sore and it has not even been 24 hours! Not bad for a 21 minute workout. Tonights workout will be core + upper body....let's see how that goes!

Workout Review: Barry's Bootcamp
Today was the first day that I started Barry's Bootcamp workout. Barry's Bootcamp is an intense 21 minute interval workout which focuses on 14 exercises performed at your highest intensity for one minute. I did not think I would really sweat in this 21 minute workout but I was dripping like I did a 45 minute Insanity workout.
Barry's Bootcamp comes with two DVDs. Both focus on your core but one has more emphasis on upper body and the other has emphasis on lower body. Today's workout was on the lower body and for 21 minutes this was pretty intense. Now, I don't know if I was sweating so much because it was a truly hot day but I do know that my heart rate was up. The DVDs also came with bands and an inflatable ball called a transformer, I know dramatic for an inflatable ball. The real test of Barry's workout will be to find out if I am sore tomorrow.
I'm also going to take my measurements tonight and try to keep track of any inches lost.
Tomorrow is core and upper body. Let's see how that goes!
